A kite seems to embody all that I seek.  A kite explores geometry, a sense of tension between order and disorder as is wavers with erratic wind, and fluidity as it glides, and with its tail. At the same time it provides a new element to consider, namely the dependence of fluidity on wind, or motion.  I will consider this dependence while I continue searching for inspiration.
